Nikol Pashinyan offers condolences to Ethiopian President Sahle-Work Zewde
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a condolence cable to President Sahle-Work Zewde of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia on the plane crash in Addis Ababa. The message reads, in part:
“I was deeply grieved to learn about the plane crash on March 10 in Addis Ababa, which claimed the lives of more than a hundred internationals and crew members.
I express my deepest sympathy and support to the victims’ families and relatives, wishing them fortitude, strength and patience to overcome this tragedy.”
To remind, on March 10, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX, en route from Addis Ababa to Kenya’s Nairobi, crashed near the Ethiopian town of Bishoftu. The crash killed 157.
