Ex-Armenian PM included in Russian oil giant’s Board of Directors
The Russian government has approved the list of candidates for the members of the Board of Directors of Zarubezhneft, the Russian state-owned oil and gas company, TASS reports.
Among other candidates, the list also includes former Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan.
Zarubezhneft is a Moscow-based Russian state-controlled oil company that specializes in exploration, development and operation of oil and gas fields outside Russian territory.
Karapetyan served as Armenia’s prime minister from 2016 to 2018. He was the mayor of Yerevan in 2010-2011.
