Kocharyan’s attorneys appeal SIS decision on rejecting to specify charges
The attorneys of Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan have appealed the decision of the Special Investigation Service (SIS) to reject their motion asking the SIS to specify the charges brought against the former president.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the defense team says a court hearing was held on Monday to examine the appeal, in attendance of Hayk Alumyan, one of Kocharyan’s attorneys, prosecutor Petrosyan and SIS investigator Musheghyan.
The court is expected to issue a ruling following the next hearing, the statement said, adding additional information will be provided on the time and date of the hearing.
