Arsenal left to sweat over Mkhitaryan as duo return for Rennes clash
Arsenal will assess Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s back injury ahead of their Europa League last-16 second leg with Rennes, the official website of the club said in its latest update from the medical team.
The Armenian national team captain and Arsenal midfielder missed Sunday’s Premier League win over his former club Manchester United but trained on Wednesday and will have a check before the game.
Arsenal held their final training session on Wednesday ahead of their crucial Europa League clash with Rennes. The Gunners host the French outfit at the Emirates on Thursday night looking to overturn a 3-1 deficit from last week's disastrous first leg.
