Artsakh to host CONIFA matches
Construction and renovation works are underway at the Vigen Shirinyan stadium in Martakert. Director of "Shinver Plus" company Norayr Harutyunyan has told ArtsakhPress news agency that that the stadium has been completely refreshed, and a new subsidiary building is being constructed, where cloak-rooms and washbasins will be installed.
"About 3000 new benches will be placed. Everything will be done in accordance with international standards. Construction works which have been started in January 2018 are expected to be completed by June 1. The project is being implemented with the co-funding of the Artsakh Republic Government and the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund,” informed Norayr Harutyunyan.
The source reminds that some matches of the European Championship by Confederation of Independent Football Associations (ConiFA) will be held on June 4-15, 2019 in Artsakh Martakert town.
