Aviation authority bans Boeing 737 MAX flights in Russian airspace
Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency has banned all Boeing 737 MAX flights in Russian airspace until further notice, the agency’s head Alexander Neradko told reporters, TASS agency reported.
"Rosaviatsia has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) stating that the flights of this type of aircraft in Russian airspace are banned until further notice," he said, as quoted by the agency.
The ban is indefinite and will remain in place until the agency makes a new decision on the matter.
