Armenia’s MFA condemns deadly terrorist attack in New Zealand
The Foreign Ministry of Armenia offered condolences over a deadly terrorist attack in the city of Christchurch in New Zealand, where shooters targeted worshippers at two mosques.
“It is with a heavy heart that we extend our sincere condolences to our colleagues and the people of New Zealand. It is with a heavy heart that we extend our sincere condolences to our colleagues and the people of New Zealand in light of the tragedy that took the lives of 40 innocent people. On this dark day, we stand with the people of New Zeeland in condemning violence and terrorism.” the ministry tweeted,
To remind, the attacks launched at two different mosques killed at least 40 and left over 20 wounded. Police also found and disabled two homemade explosive devices attached to cars parked near the mosques. Four suspects - three men and a woman - were taken to custody.
