Candlelight vigil organized in memory of victims of the New Zealand shooting
Hundreds of well-wishers on Saturday night left tributes outside the two mosques attacked in New Zealand.
A sea of flowers can be seen outside Al Noor and Linwood Majid mosques in Christchurch as hundreds of people flocked to the mosque for a vigil as the city mourns the horrific mass-shooting, The Daily Mail reported.
Similar tributes have been laid across the country as New Zealanders band together in sorrow - with lines of flowers flooding the fence of Christchurch Botanical Gardens.
During the ceremony, people lit their candles and circled together. Members from the community gave speeches to encourage others to be strong and pray for the victims and their families.
To remind, the attacks launched at two different mosques killed at least 40 and left over 20 wounded. Police also found and disabled two homemade explosive devices attached to cars parked near the mosques. Four suspects - three men and a woman - were taken to custody.
