Tuesday morning update on road conditions
Armenia’s Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reports snowfalls on the roads of Chambarak, Goris and Meghri regions, as well as the Dilijan curves as of 9:30am Tuesday, March 19.
The Gavar roads and Tigranashen curves are partly covered with black ice.
Vardenyats Pass is shut down for cargo and trailer trucks and difficult to pass for passenger vehicles.
Road maintenance operations are underway, the ministry said, adding all the other interstate and republican highways in the country are open for traffic.
