Armenia’s Sarkissian congratulates Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on assuming Kazakh presidency
President Armen Sarkissian of Armenia on Friday held a phone conversation with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to congratulate him on assuming office as Kazakhstan's President, his office said.
President Sarkissian expressed confidence that the existing traditions of friendship and mutual respect between the two nations would continue to serve as a solid foundation for the development and deepening of a mutually beneficial cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan.
Sarkissian wished Tokayev sound health and success as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Kazakhstan.
Also, the Armenian leader sent a congratulatory message to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
“I am confident that through the joint efforts, we will be able to give a new impetus to increasing the efficiency of the interstate cooperation between our countries,” reads the message.
