The father of jailed Armenian citizen in Azerbaijan visits Azerbaijani trespasser
The father of Armenian citizen Karen Ghazaryan sentenced to 20 years in jail in Azerbaijan days ago, visited on Friday Elvin Arif Oglu Ibrahimov at the hospital, who was arrested while illegally crossing the Armenian state border on Saturday, the Armenian State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons reported in a release.
Elvin Ibrahimov crossed the Armenian border near Barekamavan village in the Tavush region on March 16, at 1:00-01:30. According to the documents he carried, he is a citizen of Azerbaijan.
The guest aksed the Azerbaijani trespasser about his health and psychological condition. Ibrahimov told Ghazaryan’s father about the conditions in his detention place, about the proper medical aid he received and the careful treatment of the medical staff.
During the visit, K. Ghazaryan’s father told Ibrahimov the story if his son who got lost in the border area, accidentally crossed the border with Azerbaijan on July 15, 2018 was sentenced to 20 years of prison charged with attempting to carry out terrorist attacks in Azerbaijan.
Ghazaryan’s father wished Ibrahimov speedy recovery.
