Retired army general Manvel Grigoryan hospitalized
Retired army general and former Republican MP Manvel Grigoryan who is held in pre-trial custody, has been transferred to Nairi Medical Centre. As Panorama.am was told at the press department of the Penitentiary Service at the Ministry of Justice, the reason of the general’s hospitalization is the regular health check. The source dismissed reports about the deterioration of Grigoryan’s health condition.
To remind, in February Grigoryan passed stationary treatment for several days at Nairi medical centre.
The former general is charged with embezzling army supplies and illegally possessing firearms after security agents raided his Etchmiadzin villa to discover and confiscate large quantities of illegally stored weapons, explosives and cars, including military vehicles.
The findings also include canned and preserved food labelled “Not for Sale: Soldier’s Ration”, as well as clothing, hygiene items and medicine donated to servicemen during the 2016 April war.
