Armenia offers condolences and aid to flood-hit Iran
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a message of condolence to Iranian president Hasan Rouhani over the flooding in the city of Shiraz that has left dozens dead and more than 100 injured.
“I was deeply grieved to learn about the devastating flooding that claimed dozens of lives. I offer my condolences to the victims’ families, wishing them patience and fortitude, and the injured – a speedy recovery,” the message read.
It added: “Armenia stands by the friendly people of Iran and is ready to provide any kind of support to overcome the consequences of the disaster.”
