Armenian parliament adopts several bills discussed at Tuesday’s sitting
The Armenian National Assembly on Wednesday adopted several draft laws discussed at a sitting on Tuesday.
In particular, the lawmakers unanimously adopted bills proposing amendments and supplements to the laws on joint-stock companies and state pensions.
The bills proposing supplements to the laws on advertisement and administrative offences also passed the parliamentary reading.
A bill on education drafted by a lawmaker from the opposition Prosperous Armenia faction, Tigran Urikhanyan, was adopted in the second reading.
Also, the parliament ratified the agreement on the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, as well as the interim agreement on the establishment of a free trade zone between Iran and the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
