Milk production levels decrease in Armenia
According to data provided by the National Statistics Service (NSS), 1,127.6 tons of cheese was produced in Armenia during January-February 2019 which is 11.4% more compared to the indicated period of the previous year.
According to the statistics, curd cheese production increased by 11.2%, amounting to 103.1 tones in the reporting period, while sour cream and yoghurt production levels increased by 9% and 3.6% respectively.
Meanwhile, NSS data indicate 11,4% decrease of milk production levels in Armenia for the mentioned period. According to the source, 15 thousand 92.6 litres of milk were produced in January-February 2019.
