Weather update: Spring snow storm to weaken on Sunday
The strength of the cyclone will weaken but precipitation will continue in the territory of Armenia on March 31, Sunday, Hydromet meteorological service reported. According to the source, snow is predicted in Shirak, Tavush, Lori, Gegharkunik Provinces, in mountainous regions of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor Provinces, in foothills of Artsakh and Syunik Province.
In the daytime of March 31, on April 1-4 from time to time precipitation is predicted, in mountainous regions and in foothills precipitation will be in the form of snow, in valleys – in the form of rain. Northwest wind speed is 3-8 m/s.
The air temperature will go down by 4-6 degrees, the source said.
