Armenia’s Vardenyats Pass closed for traffic due to heavy snowfall
The Ministry of emergency situations reports some roads in the territory of Armenia are closed and difficult to pass as of 09:25am on Saturday. According to the source, Vardenyats pass is closed, Dilijan turns and Noyemberyan-Voskepar road are closed for trucks.
Sotkq-Karvachar, Ashotsk-Amasia roadway, roads in Lori and Tavush regions are difficult to pass.
Clear ice is observed on Lanjik-Mastara and intercommunity roads of Aragatsotn and Shirak regions. Snow is reported on Lori, Kotayk, Tavush, Shirak regions, in Goris, Sevan, Tchambarak, Jermuk, Aparan, Talin towns.
Drivers are strictly recommended to use winter tires while driving to regions.
