Pashinyan holds phone conversation with Putin
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia on Monday held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The prime minister gave details of his recent meeting with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev in Vienna, his office said.
Pashinyan and Putin took the opportunity to discuss issues concerning the Armenian-Russian cooperation agenda. The officials attached importance to the forthcoming Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission sitting, due in Moscow this April 4. They noted that there are prerequisites for expanding the trade turnover between the two countries.
The parties exchanged views on cooperation and the ongoing integration process within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
