Three charged with drug trafficking in Armenia
Three people have charged with drug trafficking in Armenia, the Investigative Committee’s press service said.
As a result of intelligence operations, the committee revealed that a resident of the town of Hrazdan, born in 1984, apparently acquired hemps from a 63-year-old resident of Gavar town, giving some of the drugs to another resident of Hrazdan and keeping the remaining 2,68 grams in his car.
The preliminary investigation also revealed that from early January to March 26 this year, the 34-year-old man received drugs for nearly 15 times.
A criminal case has been launched into illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs.
As part of the criminal investigation, security agents raided the houses of the suspects, finding and confiscating cannabis plants.
