Armenia’s Srbuk to open Second Semi-Final of Eurovision 2019
Armenia’s Srbuk will open the Second Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 scheduled for 16 May, Panorama.am learned from the official website of the contest.
The European Broadcasting Union released the running orders for the two Semi-Finals of Eurovision 2019 on Tuesday, April 2.
The order was decided by the producers, with the aim to create the most exciting television shows possible and ensure each act will stand out, the organizers said.
41 countries will take part in the contest in Tel Aviv, Israel. Ten countries will qualify from each Semi-Final, who will join the Big Five (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom) and host country Israel in the Grand Final on 18 May.
Srbuk will perform “Walking Out”, which was composed by two Armenian music artists “Lost Capital” and “TokioNine, with the lyrics penned by Garik Papoyan, who also wrote Aram MP3’s “Not Alone” for Eurovision 2014.
24-year-old Srbuhi Sargsyan performs under the artist name Srbuk. She is familiar with competitions and knows how to do well in them. She took part in X-Factor Armenia and finished second. Later, she went to Ukraine for The Voice where she came fourth.
