Air pollution exceeds safety limits in Armenia’s Alaverdi town
Air pollution levels in Alaverdi town of Lori region exceeds the limits of air-quality standards by 1.3 times, according to the data released by Armenia's National Statistical Service.
The date were received based on air measurements and the quality monitoring of the atmospheric air pollution of the republic. It is reported that the content of pollutants - dust, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide as well as ground-level ozone were within the norms in other major cities of the country.
In capital Yerevan, all the air pollutants are reported within the accepted norms.
