NSS: 1.9% price rise recorded in Armenia's consumer market in March
Consumer prices in Armenia rose 1.9% in March, compared with March 2018, the country's National Statistical Service (NSS) reported, adding the rise is mainly conditioned with the 0.6% price hike of non-food products.
According to the newly release data, for the indicated period food price (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and tobacco) rose by 3.5% the price for non-food products and services 0.9%and 0.1%.
In the reporting period, Consumer prices dropped by 0.3-0.1% in four and increased by 0.1-0.6% in three Armenian cities under study. In capital Yerevan price rose by 0.2%.
