PAP leader on Pashinyan-Aliyev talks: It’s ‘obscure’ to us
The details of the Venna meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev are not clear, the chairman of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and head of the party’s parliamentary faction, Gagik Tsarukyan told reporters at the National Assembly on Monday.
“It’s obscure to us. We saw different statements made separately by our prime minister and Azerbaijani president. That’s why we have summoned the prime minister to the parliament for a closed meeting. We will also invite our lawmaker friends from Artsakh,” he said.
The Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders met on March 29 under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to discuss the Artsakh conflict settlement process.
