European Wrestling Championship: Davit Safaryan passes to quarterfinals
Armenian freestyle wrestlers started their bouts at the European Wrestling Championship underway in Bucharest, Romania. As the Wrestling Federation of Armenia reports, our country is represented by Davit Safaryan, competing in the 70 kg weight class category. According to the source, Safaryan defeated the representative of Moldova by 7:4 in the 1/8.
In the quarterfinals, the Armenia will face Aghahuseyin Mustafayev of Azerbaijan. Earlier, two Armenian athletes competing in the championship suffered defeats in the opening bouts.
