Armenia to celebrate Citizen’s Day, compressed gas to be sold by kilogram: parliament passes several bills
The Armenian National Assembly adopted in the second reading the draft law on making supplements to the law on public holidays and memorial days at a special session on Tuesday.
The bill proposing to declare the last Saturday of April as Citizen’s Day in the country was adopted in a vote of 97 for, 3 against the 6 abstentions.
The new measure is conditioned with the mass civil disobedience campaign and ‘velvet revolution’ in Armenia in April-May 2018.
Also, the MPs passed in the second reading the bills on amending the laws on protection of economic competition and public services regulatory body.
The parliament fully passed a set of amendments to the Tax Code, according to which compressed natural gas will be sold by the kilogram in Armenia.
