Azerbaijani statements on military actions escalated into threats – Tigran Abrahamyan
Aide to the Artsakh Republic President Tigran Abrahamyan believes that the statements over the past ten days issued by Azerbaijan contain threatening elements about an upcoming war.
“Hints and predictions about military actions have escalated into threats to start military operations or launch preparations for starting a war,” Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook page. He recalled recent statements issued on behalf of Azerbaijani President’s office, foreign ministry, defense ministry as well as various expert circles, specifically focusing on the titles of reports and predictions about a war.
“Azerbaijan has entered a phase of disseminating information for military operations or threats. Calls by international mediators to prepare people for peace have apparently not been taken seriously in the neighboring country, and they are engaged with quite the opposite process,” Abrahamyan wrote.
