Artsakh dish wins award at food expo in Egypt
“Artsakh hagani” was named winner at the Culinary Taste of Culture expo held in Egypt. As Artsakhpress news agency reported, the dish was named winner in the “Best national dish” category. Founder and the head of Yerevan Food Fest Anna Mazmanyan told the agency the festival has been held for the fifth time in Egypt.
“Our chefs are our ambassadors. it is not the first time they have successfully carried out their mission of popularizing the Armenian cuisine and making it recognizable. The dish at the expo was presented by Arbi Gharakhani and Arayik Amzalyan. Artsakh hagani is made of chicken, oil, raisin, salt, fruit, and seasoning. It attracted many visitors, and as we can say the expo served as another platform to represent Artsakh,” Mazmanyan told the agency.
