Nazarbayev sends letter to Kocharyan
First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a letter to Robert Kocharyan to personally inform Armenia’s second president about the well-known domestic political changes and processes taking place in Kazakhstan.
Kocharyan’s office reports that in his letter Nazarbayev stressed he fondly remembers the years of their joint work, expressing the hope that his personal contacts with Kocharyan will be continued.
Nazarbayev announced his resignation on 19 March after nearly 30 years as leader of Kazakhstan.
