Armenian police release detained #SutNikol initiative members
Armenian police have released all the detained members, including the coordinators of an initiative against Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his team.
Police said a total of nine citizens were taken to the police station on Monday for violating the rules for using public places.
As reported earlier, the #SutNikol initiative coordinators Narek Samsonyan, Artur Danielyan and Konstantin Ter-Nakalyan and its other members were detained during an act of protest earlier on Monday in which they covered capital Yerevan with graffiti reading “#SutNikol” (meaning Fake Nikol).
The initiative members organized similar protest campaigns in Armenia’s other towns and cities as well, including in Sisian, Vanadzor, Maralik, Gyumri, Etchmiadzin, Akhuryan and Amasia.
