Armenian humanitarian mission in Syria discussed at the meeting between Defense Minister, UNDP Resident Representative
Armenian defense minister Davit Tonoyan received on Tuesday Dmitry Mariyasin, Resident Representative of the UNDP in Armenia. As the press department at the ministry reported, the interlocutors discussed issues related to projects implemented in Armenia through the UN Development Programme.
The defense minister presented next the details of the Armenian humanitarian mission in Syria and expressed readiness to coordinate and complement actions with the works of UNDP or other relevant structures. The meeting addressed other topics of mutual interest, the source said.
