Armenian PM offers congratulations to Syria on national holiday
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia has sent a congratulatory message to President Bashar al-Assad of Syria on the county's National Day.
The message, released by the PM's office, reads:
“I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Syria on the National Day of the Syrian Arab Republic.
I am confident that the historically deeply-rooted friendly relations between Armenia and Syria will continue to develop and strengthen for the benefit of our countries and peoples.
I hope that having overcome the difficulties of the crisis, Syria will soon enter a period of recovery and prosperity.
I wish you good health and every success, as well as peace and stability - to the friendly people of Syria."
