Armenian parliament adopts several bills at regular session
The Armenian National Assembly adopted several draft laws after putting them to a vote at its regular session on Friday.
In particular, lawmakers overwhelmingly adopted in the first reading an opposition-drafted bill on making amendments and supplements to the law on administrative offences in a vote of 86 for and 2 abstentions.
A draft law seeking to make changes in the Penitentiary Code of Armenia also passed the first parliamentary reading with 94 votes in favour.
A total of 96 MPs backed the bill on making amendments and supplements to the Code of Subsoil that seeks to reveal the real owners of mines in the country.
Also, the parliament adopted in the second reading and in full the proposed amendments and supplements to the law on joint-stock companies.
