Three Armenians claim victories in seventh round of Euro Women’s Chess C’ship
Three Armenian chess players have claimed victories in Round 7 of the European Individual Women's Chess Championship 2019 taking place in Antalya, Turkey.
The round was victorious for Maria Gevorgyan, Anna Sargsyan and Siranush Ghukasyan, who played with white pieces, the Chess Federation of Armenia reports.
Meantime, two other Armenian players Elina Danielyan and Lilit Mkrtchyan, playing with black pieces, drew their games in this round.
After seven rounds, Elina Danielyan has collected 5 points, legging behind the sole leader of the championship, Alina Kashlinskaya.
Lilit Mkrtchyan has 4.5 points, while Maria Gevorgyan, Anna Sargsyan and Siranush Ghukasyan have 4 points, apiece.
