Temperatures to rise strongly in Armenia from Wednesday
Temperatures are set to grow strongly in Armenia from Wednesday, April 24, as warm tropical air masses are about to sweep across the country from Iraq.
Growing by 2-3 degrees daily, temperatures are expected to reach 13C-16C in mountainous regions, 20C in foothills and 22C in valleys in the daytime on 27 April, the Hydromet Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Capital Yerevan will see up to 22C on 27 April against today’s 10C.
Meantime, wet and windy weather will persist in most regions on Monday, with the cyclone expected to calm down in the next two days.
No precipitation is expected in the territory of Armenia from 25 to 27 April.
