“We have people gathered here who decided to become members of the Republican party after the change of power in Armenia and when the Republican party is no more the ruling force,” The Chairman of the Youth Organization of the Republican Party Hayk Mamajanyan stated on Monday at the Party Headquarters with a group of new members of the Party,

Congratulated them on their admission and handing the RPA party-membership card, Mamajanyan emphasized that people decided to join the party at a time when it is no more in power and that speaks of their strength.
“We are united around the idea that it is not enough for state governance to march from Gyumri to Yerevan, but the knowledge is required. We are united around the idea that people should work in the state administration based on their skills. We are united around the idea that we can’t perceive holding Nagorno Karabakh settlement talks in an elevator,” Mamajanyan said in his remarks.

He next said all RPA initiatives would be carried out jointly. “Likewise, I can assure that all initiatives of RPA for different periods have been implemented in the interest of the state. Obviously, we paid the price of our failures and omissions by losing the power,” he added.

To note, the event was attended by the Chairman of the Republican Party, Armenia’s third President Serzh Sargsyan.
