Armenia to begin trial of former MP Manvel Grigoryan next week
The trial of Manvel Grigoryan, a former Republican lawmaker and a retired army general, and his spouse Nazik Amiryan will begin next week.
The first hearing of the trial is set to start at 12pm on Thursday, May 2, according to DataLex online judicial information system.
Grigoryan is charged with embezzlement of army supplies, illegal procurement and possession of firearms and ammunition in large quantities and tax evasion in a prior agreement with his wife, son and several other persons.
