Artsakh refutes Azerbaijani media reports on targeting civilians
The Artsakh defense ministry reacted on Thursday to Azerbaijani reports suggesting the Armenian Armed Forces had opened fire at the Chiragli village of Aghdam on April 24 and 25 at a time when several 4-13-year-old girls were playing in the yard of one of the houses.
The Artsakh defense minister categorically refuted the reports disseminated by Azerbaijani sources naming it as provocative. The ministry also expressed readiness upon necessity to present the recordings of the times in question of the areas made through video surveillance systems and present to the public upon necessity.
Meanwhile, the Commander staff of the Artsakh Armed forces added he adhered to the ceasefire regime, calling on Azerbaijani to side refrain from desperate tactic of artificially escalating the situation across the line of contact and continue a constructive stand.
