Grenke Chess Classic: Aronian draws with 14-year-old Vincent Keymer in the sixth round
Armenian GM Levon Aronian drew his game against 14-year-old German chess player Vincent Keymer in Round 6 of the GRENKE Chess Classic 2019 taking place in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The game ended in the 52nd move with Aronian playing with whites.
The leading Armenian chess player drew with Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Arkadij Naiditsch, Georg Meier and Francisco Vallejo and defeated Peter Svidler in the previous five rounds.
Having collected 3,5 points, Aronian shares places 2-7 in the table.
The Armenian GM will face the leader of the tournament Magnus Carlsen in the seventh round of the tournament scheduled for Sunday.
