March 1 case involving former top Armenian officials submitted to Yerevan court
The indictment in a criminal case alleging the complicity of four former top Armenian officials in the March 1-2, 2008 post-election events in capital Yerevan has been filed to a court, advisor to the attorney general Gor Abrahamyan said.
The indictment involves Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan, former Dedense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, ex-CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturo, who was Armenia’s deputy defense minister at the time, and former Deputy PM Armen Gevorgyan.
The criminal case has been submitted to the Yerevan First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, the advisor said.
