Families to return to Artsakh’s Talish after reconstruction, village head assures
Intensive construction works continue in Artsakh’s Talish village greatly suffered during the 2016 April War.
The construction of an events hall, a community center, kindergarten and school have been already completed. Moreover, the newly built kindergarten is already furnished, while the school is expected to be furnished in the near future.
Vilen Petrosyan, the mayor of the village, assures that in the new academic year children will go to school in Talish.
Speaking to Panorama.am, the official presented detained of the construction works underway in the village, noting that the construction of 10 new houses is underway in the village, with 9 houses planned to be renovated in the near future.
The reconstruction of all the infrastructures in Talish is expected to be completed this year, he added.
The mayor is convinced families will return to Talish from neighboring Alashan after the reconstruction works are completed. “In summer, the Talish residents will return to the village. Most of them are living in Alashan. They will return with their families and the life will get back to normal here,” he said.
The mayor said although two families are living in the village now, the majority of the Talish men are engaged in the reconstruction works and are looking forward to finishing them.
