Yerevan mayor: Victory in Artsakh war came to prove Armenian nation is invincible
Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan on Thursday joined the festivities marking the Peace and Victory Day, the 27th anniversaries of the Artsakh Defense Army and the Liberation of Shushi at the Victory Park in the Armenian capital.
Speaking to reporters at the park, the mayor congratulated the Armenian people on the triple holiday.
“Today is an important day. This is a great part of history of the Armenian people, who made a major contribution to the [victory in] the Great Patriotic War. I am proud to be a representative of the Armenian nation that has claimed so many victories,” he said.
Marutyan added the victory in the Artsakh Liberation War is yet another proof that that the Armenian nation is invincible.
