President Armen Sarkissian received today the Vice President Christian Nardin and Senior Director for Academic Programs Xavier Fouger from the world famous Dassault systems French company who have arrived to Armenia at the invitation of the President of Armenia.

As the press department at the President’s office reported, President Sarkissian noted that during the previous meetings with the leadership of the company discussed were opportunities and potential areas of cooperation. “We need to explore what we can do together,” the President of Armenia said and added, “First and foremost, to explore the educational sector of the country because it is necessary to have a proper system of education to be able to work in the area of high technologies. I am confident that we have talented people around us.”

According to Armen Sarkissian, Armenia is a small country but a global nation, Armenians are everywhere, and this is an important advantage.

Vice President of the company Christian Nardin thanked the President of Armenia for the invitation and said in particular, “It’s a great honor to be here. During our visit we want to understand which are the areas that we can work in. People are the key to the future, everything starts with the people that’s why we are so interested in exploring the educational system of Armenia and in deciding what our contribution to the education of the new generation can be which is ultimately a contribution to a better future. Future is a possibility, not a threat. Technologies of the future can become wonderful tools if used properly.”

President Sarkissian expressed confidence that the time spent in Armenia will allow the representatives of the company to discover the opportunities existing in our country, our educational and scientific potential. “All this will give a general picture and opportunity to plan what you can do,” the President of Armenia underlined.

The source reminds that the Dassault Systemes is part of the renowned Dassault Group French company.  It provides program support to the military industrial sector, particularly, to airspace, defense, and energy areas. The Group works also in the areas of logistic systems, hybrid electric transportation vehicles, real estate, and others.
