Armenian schools to right Last Bell on 25 May
Schools across Armenia are set to ring the Last Bell on Saturday, 25 May for this year’s graduates, Head of the General Education Department at the Ministry of Education and Science Ashot Arshakyan told Panorama.am.
The basic schools’ 9th grades have some 30,000 graduates, whereas around 20,000 students are expected to graduate the 12th grade this year, against last year’s 9,600 graduates.
Arshakyan explained the low number of 12th grade graduates in 2018 was conditioned with Armenia’s switching to the 12-year education system.
The 9th graders are set to take a unified state exam in the Armenian Language and Literature subject on Sunday, 26 May.
