Fire breaks out at Yerevan apartment building
A fire erupted at an apartment building in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on Sunday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Two fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene after emergency responders received a call about the fire in the capital’s Silikyan District at 5:48pm.
Officials say the fire appeared to have broken out in the bedroom of the apartment, partially damaging its property, including a closet and a bed, as well as the door and windows of the room.
The fire was deemed under control at 6:32pm and put out at 6:41pm, the ministry said.
No injuries were reported.
