Opera star Veronika Dzhioeva to perform in Armenia
World famous opera singer Veronika Dzhioeva will perform a concert in Armenia for the first time.
The young Ossetian soprano will perform with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Eduard Topchjan, in participation of young bass Sergey Stepanyan.
The concert is scheduled to be held at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall on 24 June. Its program features popular operetta arias written for dramatic soprano and duets, the orchestra told Panorama.am.
Dzhioeva has taken the stage in the world’s best opera theaters and concert halls. The soprano cooperates with such famous conductors as Mariss Jansons, Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Teodor Currentzis, Ingo Metzmacher, Marco Carminati and others.
