Armenian cyclist Edgar Stepanyan gains qualifying points at Tula Grand Prix
Leading cyclist of Armenia Edgar Stepanyan has taken part in a qualifying Grand Prix in Tula, the National Olympic Committee reports.
Stepanyan has ended up sixth in the final of the scratch race. He has been qualified for the final with the first place.
The tournament has brought together the strongest cyclists, including the world and European champions.
In Tula the Armenia cyclist has also competed in the omnium event, coming tenth.
From June 1-3 Edgar Stepanyan will participate in another qualifying tournament this time in Moscow after which on June 5-7 he will join to a Grand Prix in St. Petersburg.
