Salaries of Armenian military to increase from June 1
The salaries of military personnel will grow in Armenia starting from June 1, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told a Cabinet meeting on Thursday.
“The salaries are set to increase from June 1, which means [the servicemen] will be paid the increased salaries in July,” the PM said.
At the previous Cabinet meeting, Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan said on average, servicemen will see a 10 percent increase in their salaries, while the salaries of junior officers and military personnel serving under special conditions will grow by 20 percent.
