Warm air masses to penetrate into Armenia starting tomorrow
The air temperature will increase in the territory of Armenia by 4-5 degrees on June 1-5, the country’s ministry of emergency situations reported, adding warm air masses from the south will penetrate into the country.
According to the source, the highest temperature of +36․․․+37 °C will be recorded on June 4-5 in Ararat valley and capital Yerevan. Despite the hot weather, on June 2-5 short rains and thunderstorm are predicted in evening hours in separate places of the republic
The average air temperature in June is expected to be +22...+23 °C, which is 1-2 degrees higher than the annual average. Monthly precipitation is assumed to be closed to the norm (norm 17-29 mm).
