Criminal case initiated over Artsakh soldier’s killing by Azerbaijani fire
The First Garrison Investigative Unit of Armenia’s Investigative Committee launched a criminal case into the murder of serviceman Sipan Serjik Melkonyan by the Azerbaijani fire.
As the Investigative Committee reported on Saturday, on June 1, at 07:30 am, a soldier of one of the units of the Defense Army located in southeastern (Martuni) direction – Sipan Serjik Melkonyan, born in 2000 - received a fatal gunshot wound by Azerbaijani fire.
The FirstGarrison Investigative Unit initiated a criminal case over murder out of motives of national, racial or religious hatred or fanatism. Preliminary probe is underway.
