International Children's Day at Cafesjian Center for the Arts
The International Children's Day was particularly festive at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts (CCA) this year, as the center also marks its 10th anniversary in 2019. On this occasion, more than 200 schoolchildren fashioned a representation of the CCA 10th anniversary logo first with balloons, and then with flashlights. In addition, children created flags featuring the Center’s artworks, as part of Your Flag creative program implemented with the support of Beeline.
Visitors also had the opportunity to participate in the newly launched educational project Create Your Journey, implemented with Beeline's support. In the scope of this project, they explored artworks exhibited at the center, by completing a set of interactive assignments, Beeline Armenia reported.
Vahagn Marabyan, CCA Acting Executive Director, congratulated children on this special holiday and noted: “On the occasion of International Children's Day, we have designed an interesting program of events in collaboration with our loyal partner Beeline, thus striving to make this holiday memorable for children. Due to our long-term cooperation, each year we present new and interesting creative initiatives.”
“This is not the first time we take part at this beautiful event, and I must say Beeline appreciates very much what Cafesjian center is doing to educate youngsters. A good education brings safe and full life, therefore it is the best way to protect our children," said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
The open-air concert by TmbaTa Orchestra, one of the most popular youth folk rock bands in Armenia, magnified the jovial atmosphere. The celebration was concluded with festive fireworks.
Beeline and the Cafesjian Center for the Arts have been cooperating since 2011. In the frames of this long-term cooperation, various educational programs are regularly implemented at the center.
